On November 26, at the Ho Chi Minh City Innovative Startup Center (SIHUB), the Opening Ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation, Science and Technology and Creative Startup Week (WISE HCMC⁺ 2025) took place with the theme “Innovation and technology – The future of our city”. The event was directed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, and lasted until November 28.

The week has a scale of nearly 200 technology exhibition booths, hundreds of start-ups with 15 related events in the field of startups and innovation.

According to Mr. Tran Trong Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, WISE HCMC⁺ 2025 is not only outstanding in scale but will become an annual meeting point of innovative thinking, of Vietnamese wisdom, of the international community; where the new germinates, where opportunities are identified, where ideas are winged and aspirations are transmitted.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Ho Chi Minh City government is committed to always accompanying the innovation community in all stages of development, while maximizing the role of orienting, leading, connecting, cooperating and sharing. This is not only a task but also a strategic vision to promote innovation, contributing to positioning Ho Chi Minh City as the leading creative center of the region and the world.
