REPEET:Recycled Materials Solutions From Vietnam
Vietnam is facing a difficult paradox in industrial development: We are facing a “crisis of excess” of plastic waste, but at the same time we are falling into a “crisis of shortage” of recycled materials that meet international standards.
How to transform millions of plastic bottles discarded every day into a new, valuable life?
Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB) is pleased to introduce REPEET – a pioneering startup that is redefining the story of sustainable fashion through the closed-loop model “Made in Vietnam & Recycled in Vietnam”.

From Plastic Bottles to Sustainable Materials
REPEET has built a 6-step process from post-consumer plastic bottles to recycled fabrics and international standard fashion products, operated entirely in Vietnam. This production chain not only optimizes environmental impact but also creates a stable source of materials for the business:
One product made from REPEET fabric can help “rescue” an average of 7–11 plastic bottles from landfills.
In particular, recycled fashion products from REPEET help reduce CO₂ emissions by an average of 57% and save about 70% of water compared to virgin material products.

More than a product – a comprehensive social impact
At SIHUB, we appreciate Impact Startup models that not only solve environmental problems but also create profound social values. REPEET realizes this commitment through 3 core value pillars:
- Supply chain transparency:
REPEET holds international certifications such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, GRS and Fair Trade USATM, ensuring clear traceability for every step in the recycling chain.
- Improving community livelihoods:
Increasing income and ensuring safe working conditions for waste collectors – an important but often overlooked link in the circular economy.
- Creating a sustainable ecosystem:
Building a close connection between People – Materials – Environment, thereby promoting green and civilized consumption habits.

Journey of “Doing Good”
REPEET pursues the mission of building a standardized recycling chain in Vietnam – where each material is recycled transparently and according to standards, bringing value to people, the economy and the environment.
“Doing good” is not just a communication slogan, but the spirit that REPEET pursues in every step and product.
Project “REPEET” is one of 4 outstanding projects entering the acceleration round at GIC 2025.
