On December 1 & 2, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Center for Creative Entrepreneurship in collaboration with Hoa Sen University successfully organized the training course “Startup Project Development Skills”. The class was taught by Lecturer Tran Kim Duy Lan – Development Partner of the Acceleration Program at Expara Investment Fund, attracting the participation of more than 50 students including students and members of creative startup projects, contributing to creating a multi-dimensional and practical learning environment.

On the first day, Mr. Lan focused on opening up the fundamental thinking about innovative startups. Students were clarified the difference between startups and traditional business models, the role of growth thinking in the project formation phase, as well as how to look at problems from the actual needs of the market. He guided how to identify customer portraits, analyze problems – real needs and build core values ​​of the project through design thinking methods and toolkits such as SCAMPER, Value Proposition Canvas. Thanks to the diversity of experiences and exchanges, broadening the perspectives of the students, the class was very exciting with many direct discussions with the lecturer.

On the second day, the course moved into in-depth application content. Mr. Lan shared how to analyze the market according to the TAM – SAM – SOM model and how to build an effective business model. In addition, the most special point of the lesson was the introduction and instructions on using useful AI tools for startups, including how to optimize artificial intelligence in analysis, idea generation, document preparation, model design and project operation support. Students directly observed how to apply AI to each step of the project, from shaping the idea to deploying it into a test product, helping to save time and improve work efficiency.

The training course ended with a lot of practical knowledge and a positive learning spirit. This is not only an opportunity for learners to approach the startup mindset in a systematic way but also an opportunity for learners to connect, share and find new inspiration in the journey of turning ideas into action.
