On November 24, 2025, within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation, Science and Technology, and Creative Startup Week 2025 (WISE HCMC+ 2025), themed “Innovation and Technology – The Future of Our City”, the “Innovative Startup in High-Tech Agriculture” Competition 2025 was held, organized by the Management Board of the High-Tech Agricultural Zone.

Startups are the journey of turning bold ideas into practical values. When the spirit of innovation is ignited, each project has the opportunity to create practical changes for the community and the Vietnamese agricultural sector.

This year’s “Innovative Startups in the field of high-tech agriculture” competition does not stop at an idea playground. The competition is built as part of the long-term action plan of the agricultural sector, aiming to create a foundation for a new generation of agricultural entrepreneurs: dynamic, creative and mastering technology. In particular, the role of innovative startups is an important link in the formation of high-tech agricultural value chains, associated with digital transformation and green economy. According to information from the Organizing Committee, the Competition Regulations have been officially issued, detailing the contents, conditions for participation, evaluation criteria, award structure and implementation methods. Specifically, this year’s competition fields belong to one of the following groups: Management, production, processing, preservation in the field of high-tech agriculture (production, processing of edible mushrooms and medicinal mushrooms, medicinal plants, orchids and ornamental plants, plant cell technology, microbiology, biotechnology, cultivation technology, aquaculture technology, livestock technology, biological products); Application of information technology, IoT, big data (Big Data), blockchain (Blockchain), artificial intelligence (AI), automation, robots, drones… in management, production, processing, preservation in the field of high-tech agriculture; Development of digital economy, digital transformation in agriculture, green transformation, circular agriculture, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable development. The notable point in the regulations of this Competition is the special focus on the practical application, economic efficiency and replicability of the projects. The Final Round of the Competition “Innovative Startups in the Field of High-Tech Agriculture in 2025” is entering the most explosive moment of the year – where the Top 20 best projects will present, debate and affirm their mettle before the Jury and the high-tech agricultural startup community.
